Havana, Cuba

Old Havana, dating from the early 1500s and the seed from which modern Havana, Cuba grew, was entered into the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1982. Today visitors can see numerous of Havana's splendid but crumbling colonial structures and facades being restored and refurbished due to this effort.
